Today was our last full day in Haiti. We started our day off
with another amazing breakfast made with so much love from the Healing Haiti Guesthouse
staff. We then were off to Grace Church. We were so blessed by the praise and
worship, there wasn’t a dry eye in the place. They sang so many beautiful songs
that we sing in church and they were in Creole and English. Once praise and
worship was done we headed for the beach! We got to spend the day under the
Haitian sun, with the presence of God, friends and wonderful memories of the
past week. Today was a great day of reflection and relaxation after a crazy
week of serving the Lord. Some went out on the water trampoline, some read
books and some went snorkeling. The Lord has been all over us and our hearts
this week and today we got to experience more of the beauty of God and His land
of Haiti. I can only speak for myself, but I am fairly certain this applies to
the whole team…WE ARE BLESSED! God is so so great!! He broke our hearts open
this week. We emptied ourselves in everything we did and He filled us right
back up with His love, mercy and strength. We are very sad to leave Haiti, but
we are all so excited to change our lives back in Minnesota and show everyone
how good God is and all the great things He can do in our lives!
THANK YOU JESUS FOR THIS OPPORTUNITY!!!! Forever grateful.
